Madhav Infra Projects has submitted its Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) unaudited financial results, both standalone and consolidated, approved by the Board on August 2, 2025. On a standalone basis, total revenue from operations rose to roughly Rs. 9,779.84 lakh from Rs. 8,754.37 lakh in Q1 FY25, while profit after tax improved to Rs. 694 lakh from Rs. 603.79 lakh, translating to EPS of Rs. 0.26 (vs Rs. 0.22). Total expenses were Rs. 7,880.22 lakh against Rs. 8,155.75 lakh a year ago. The results include subsidiaries, associates and joint ventures in the consolidated numbers. The auditor, Shah & Kadam, has issued a limited review report without qualification, but has drawn attention to the non-ascertainment and non-provision of Deferred Tax Liability under Ind AS 12 (Note 4).
Modest single-digit revenue and earnings growth on standalone basis is positive for shareholders, but the auditor's emphasis on deferred tax not being provided could be a red flag as it may lead to a future tax adjustment. Investors should monitor clarity on this deferred tax position in the audited FY26 results.
