Magenta Lifecare Ltd's board, which met on 31st May 2025, approved its audited financial results for the half-year and full year ended 31st March 2025. Revenue from operations for FY25 grew about 16% to Rs 1,018.35 lakhs from Rs 876.28 lakhs a year earlier, but profit after tax dropped sharply to Rs 8.28 lakhs (vs Rs 73.85 lakhs in FY24), with EPS falling to Rs 0.12 from Rs 1.52. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results. The board also appointed Gaurav Bachani & Associates as Secretarial Auditor for FY25 and MJM Patel & Co. as Internal Auditor for FY26.
Strong top-line growth but a steep fall in profitability is a red flag for shareholders, as rising costs (especially materials) appear to have eaten into margins despite higher sales. The clean audit opinion and strengthened reserves/cash position post-IPO are positives, but the weak bottom line may weigh on the stock in the near term.
