M&M's subsidiary MASL diluted its stake in Mahindra Summit Agriscience (MSAL) from 60% to 58.8% after partner Summit Agro International (Japan) subscribed to new Class A shares. Despite the small equity dilution, both partners now have equal voting rights. MSAL's revenue was Rs.236.09 crore in FY26, and its net worth of Rs.35.93 crore contributed just 0.023% to M&M's consolidated net worth. MSAL will cease to be M&M's step-down subsidiary and become an associate, while continuing as a joint venture.
Minimal financial impact as MSAL contributes only 0.023% of consolidated net worth. M&M retains joint control through 58.8% stake with equal voting.
