Mahindra reported strong December 2025 sales across all three business segments. Its auto division sold 86,090 total vehicles, up 25% year-on-year, including 50,946 SUVs (23% growth) and 24,786 light commercial vehicles under 3.5 tonnes (34% growth). The farm equipment business recorded its highest-ever performance with 31,859 total tractor sales, up 39% year-on-year, driven by 37% domestic growth and 78% export growth. The trucks and buses business sold 2,260 vehicles, a 43% jump, with both the MTBD and SML divisions posting double-digit growth. For the full fiscal year-to-date, SUV sales are up 18%, tractor sales up 21%, and trucks & buses up 13% compared to the prior year.
Broad-based double-digit growth across autos, tractors, and trucks signals robust demand and strong year-end momentum for Mahindra, which is positive for investor sentiment. Notably, the management commentary on tractor demand sustaining and trucks & buses entering an early upcycle could support earnings expectations going forward.
