Mahindra & Mahindra reported its monthly auto numbers for July 2025. Overall sales rose to around 80,917 units vs 64,929 units in July 2024, a growth of nearly 25%. Utility vehicles remained the core driver, with the new Electric Origin SUV (likely the BE series) recording 4,008 units in sales, up from zero last year. Thar+Thar Roxx sales more than doubled to about 9,845 units, and Scorpio continued strong with around 13,747 units sold. In the three-wheeler electric passenger segment, Treo sales jumped sharply from 1,124 to 7,613 units. Exports nearly doubled to 2,774 units from 1,515 a year ago. The figures are unaudited and subject to revision.
Positive monthly read — broad-based volume growth, strong debut of the new electric SUV, and a sharp jump in exports support a healthy demand outlook. Could be mildly positive for the stock as it signals continued momentum across both core SUVs and emerging EV/3W businesses.
