Mahindra & Mahindra reported a strong Q1 F26 with consolidated revenue up 22% YoY to ₹45,529 cr and PAT up 24% to ₹4,083 cr, with annualised ROE of 20.6%. The Auto segment saw SUV volumes rise 22% to 152K and SUV revenue market share hit a record 27.3% (#1 in industry), with Auto standalone PBIT margin steady at 10.0% (excl e-SUV). The Farm business posted its highest-ever quarterly market share of 45.2% with core tractor PBIT margin expanding to 20.7%. Tech Mahindra's EBIT margin recovered to 11.1% (up 260 bps), with the company guiding to a 15% EBIT margin target by F27, while TCV wins grew 51% to $809 Mn. MMFSL AUM grew 15% to ₹1.22 lakh cr with stable asset quality. The BEV (e-SUV) business turned EBITDA positive at ₹111 cr (3.6% margin) but remained PBIT-negative at -₹101 cr.
Broadly positive for shareholders — strong market share gains across Auto and Farm, margin expansion in tractor, and a clear margin recovery roadmap at TechM support earnings visibility. The lingering losses in e-SUV remain a near-term watchpoint, but overall execution and multi-year targets are constructive for the stock.
