Maithan Alloys reported standalone revenue from operations of Rs 2,251.41 crore for FY2026, up 24% from Rs 1,819.65 crore in FY2025, showing strong top-line growth. However, profit after tax declined 34% to Rs 432.40 crore from Rs 654.26 crore in the prior year. The Q4 standalone quarter showed a loss of Rs 88 crore. The profit decline was primarily due to significantly lower other income from investments at Rs 276 crore versus Rs 647.80 crore in FY25 (a drop of Rs 371.80 crore), plus a forex loss of Rs 40.55 crore in Q4. The company declared first interim dividend of Rs 11 per share and recommended final dividend of Rs 6 per share. Auditors issued unmodified opinions on both standalone and consolidated results.
Despite strong 24% revenue growth, the stock may face pressure due to 34% PAT decline driven by sharply lower investment gains. The board's continued dividend commitment provides some support to shareholder returns.
