Manaksia Coated Metals reported a strong Q1 FY26 with consolidated total income of INR253.94 crores, up 29.97% year-on-year, and net profit of INR14.01 crores, a 359.70% jump. EBITDA surged 93.36% YoY to INR28.62 crores, with margins expanding 370 basis points to 11.27%. Export revenue hit a record 57% of total sales, growing 182.28% YoY, driven by European OEM customers. The company raised INR174.87 crores via preferential warrants (INR13 crores still pending conversion) and is targeting net debt/EBITDA of 1.7x by FY26 end from 2.3x currently. Management guided EBITDA margins of 12-13% with the Alu-Zinc technology upgrade (180,000 MTPA) coming online by end of Q2 FY26, and a second color coating line adding 150,000 MT to take total capacity to 236,000 MT by Q4 FY26. Peak revenue potential is pegged at INR1,600 crores by FY27, with Phase 1-2 capex of ~INR150 crores (70% debt-funded) and a larger Phase 3 cold rolling project of INR220-250 crores planned from mid-FY27.
Positive for shareholders — the company posted a sharp earnings beat, demonstrated clear margin expansion levers through the Alu-Zinc transition, and laid out a credible multi-year capacity and de-leveraging roadmap that supports sustained growth.
