KD Green Industries (formerly Manbro Industries) informed that its 99.84% subsidiary, K D Infrastructures Private Limited (KDIPL), has been registered under the UNNATI 2024 (Uttar Poorva Transformative Industrialization Scheme) by DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. The registration was granted on 11 May 2026 as a New Unit (Registration No. UNNATI/2026/AS-KAM/00184) in Kamrup, Assam, making the subsidiary eligible to apply for fiscal incentives including Capital Investment Incentive, Manufacturing & Services Linked Incentive, and Capital Interest Subvention. KDIPL is setting up a specialized steel fabrication facility with an annual capacity of 25,000 MT, catering to galvanized structures, power infrastructure components, solar structures, urban poles, and fabricated industrial items. The facility will serve construction, energy, utilities, transportation, and urban development sectors in the North Eastern Region.
This is a positive development as it positions the subsidiary to access government fiscal and financial incentives, potentially lowering capital and operating costs for the planned 25,000 MT steel fabrication unit. However, the registration does not guarantee incentive disbursement — KDIPL must still meet eligibility criteria and obtain all other necessary approvals before setting up and commencing production.
