Mangalam Drugs and Organics' board, at its May 17, 2025 meeting, approved audited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2025. The company returned to profit at the consolidated level, posting a net profit of Rs 672.07 lakhs in FY25 versus a loss of Rs 907.17 lakhs in FY24, with consolidated revenue at Rs 31,823 lakhs. Standalone revenue declined to Rs 31,757 lakhs from Rs 36,735 lakhs in FY24, but standalone net profit improved to Rs 354.61 lakhs from a loss of Rs 904.89 lakhs. EPS stood at Rs 2.24 (standalone) and Rs 4.25 (consolidated). The statutory auditors issued an unmodified opinion on the results. The board also appointed Ragini Chokshi & Co. (Rakhi Dasgupta) as Secretarial Auditor for FY 2025-26. The pending merger scheme with Mangalam Laboratories Pvt Ltd and Shri JB Pharma Pvt Ltd remains awaiting NCLT approval.
A turnaround from loss to profit despite lower revenue suggests improved margins and cost control, which is a positive signal for shareholders. However, the sharp decline in topline (about 14% drop standalone) and the still-pending merger/NCLT approval leave uncertainty around long-term growth.
