MCF shared an investor presentation ahead of its analyst call on May 8, 2025. For Q4 FY25, revenue was Rs. 774 Cr (down 2% YoY) but EBITDA rose 12% YoY to Rs. 55 Cr and PAT jumped 220% to Rs. 5 Cr, with EPS at Rs. 1.35. For the full year FY25, revenue declined 12% to Rs. 3,332 Cr, EBITDA fell 14% to Rs. 359 Cr, and PAT dropped 7% to Rs. 144 Cr. The company achieved record urea production of 4,43,322 MT and record phosphatic production of 3,25,134 MT during the year. Long-term debt reduced sharply from Rs. 328 Cr to Rs. 132 Cr, though short-term debt rose to Rs. 492 Cr, and total receivables declined to Rs. 561 Cr after receiving Rs. 305 Cr in subsidies.
Q4 showed a clear margin recovery with EBITDA growing despite lower revenue, while full-year results were weaker on falling topline and margins. The sharp reduction in long-term debt and receipt of subsidy dues are positives, but rising short-term borrowings and an overall decline in annual profits may keep the stock sentiment mixed in the near term.
