Manipal Finance Corporation Ltd has published its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended 31 December 2025 in The New Indian Express and Vijayavani. Total revenue from operations stood at just Rs 4.79 lakh in Q3 FY26, marginally up from Rs 4.74 lakh in the previous quarter but down from Rs 4.62 lakh YoY. The company reported a net loss of Rs 5.52 lakh before tax and exceptional items, wider than the Rs 1.00 lakh loss in Q2 FY26. After booking exceptional items of about Rs 40.90 lakh, the company swung to a net profit of Rs 29.86 lakh post-tax for the quarter. Basic and diluted EPS for the quarter was Rs 0.36, sharply lower than Rs 8.75 in the year-ago quarter.
Core business remains loss-making and revenue is negligible, so the headline profit is entirely driven by one-off exceptional items rather than operating performance. The sharp YoY drop in EPS and shrinking 9-month revenue (Rs 14.20 lakh vs Rs 17.11 lakh) suggest weak fundamentals, which is a negative signal for shareholders despite the optical profit.
