ICRA Limited has reaffirmed credit ratings for Mankind Pharma's existing debt facilities while also assigning a rating to a new Commercial Paper programme. The long-term/short-term fund-based limits of ₹1,250 crore carry [ICRA]AA+ (Stable)/[ICRA]A1+, non-convertible debentures of ₹5,000 crore are rated [ICRA]AA+ (Stable), and a newly established Commercial Paper programme of ₹600 crore has been assigned [ICRA]A1+. The 'AA+' rating with Stable outlook indicates very strong creditworthiness, and the 'A1+' for CP indicates highest short-term liquidity strength.
The reaffirmation of high-grade ratings reflects continued financial stability and strong debt servicing capacity. The new Commercial Paper programme gives the company additional short-term borrowing flexibility, which is positive for liquidity management. No negative signals for bondholders or equity investors.
