Mapro Industries Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors, at their meeting held on 30th May 2025, approved the annual accounts for the year ended 31st March 2025 and decided not to declare any dividend. The company's total turnover stood at NIL for both FY 2024-25 and FY 2023-24, with other income of Rs. 93.18 lakh (vs Rs. 96.46 lakh last year). Profit before tax improved to Rs. 35.96 lakh from Rs. 4.92 lakh, and profit after tax rose to Rs. 26.91 lakh from Rs. 3.64 lakh. No buyback of shares was announced either. The company continues to carry a large accumulated loss of Rs. 1,762.61 lakh brought forward from previous years.
Shareholders get no dividend for another year, but with zero turnover and accumulated losses, this is not surprising. The improved profit after tax is a modest positive, though the company's core business remains inactive.
