Marico Ltd has launched the second edition of its 100-day investor awareness campaign called 'Saksham Niveshak', in partnership with the Investor Education and Protection Authority (IEPFA) and Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA). The campaign urges all shareholders to update their KYC details (including PAN linked with Aadhaar, contact details, bank account information, specimen signature, and nomination details) and to claim any unpaid/unclaimed dividends. Under IEPF rules, dividends unclaimed for seven consecutive years, along with corresponding shares, are liable to be transferred to the IEPFA. The company has published newspaper advertisements in Business Standard (English) and Navshakti (Marathi) editions, and has also hosted the notice on its website. Shareholders holding physical shares can contact Marico's RTA, MUFG Intime India Private Limited, while demat shareholders should contact their respective Depository Participants.
This is a routine compliance-driven investor outreach campaign. Shareholders who fail to update KYC or claim unpaid dividends risk losing their dividends and having shares transferred to the IEPF authority, which could marginally reduce the company's registrable shareholder base over time.
