Marico Limited has launched the second 100 Days Campaign titled 'Saksham Niveshak' to promote investor awareness and encourage shareholders to update their KYC details. The campaign is part of an initiative by the Investor Education and Protection Authority (IEPFA) and Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA). Shareholders are being urged to claim their unpaid/unclaimed dividends before they are transferred to the IEPF, which happens when dividends remain unclaimed for seven consecutive years. The company is requesting shareholders to update KYC details including PAN (linked with Aadhaar), contact details, bank account details, specimen signature, and nomination details. Requests can be submitted through the RTA MUFG Intime India Private Limited or directly to the company via email.
This is a routine compliance and investor awareness initiative. Shareholders holding physical shares should update their KYC promptly to avoid their dividends and shares being transferred to the IEPF, which would make them harder to reclaim.
