Market cap of 9 of top 10 most-valued firms jumps ₹2.15 lakh crore; Airtel, LIC biggest gainers

The combined market capitalisation of nine of India's top ten most-valued companies rose by Rs 2.15 lakh crore last week, led by Bharti Airtel (up Rs 52,432.67 crore to Rs 11.63 lakh crore) and LIC (up Rs 51,675.67 crore to Rs 5.57 lakh crore). Reliance Industries retained the top spot at Rs 17.72 lakh crore, while TCS was the only decliner among the top ten, shedding Rs 12,699.49 crore to Rs 7.69 lakh crore. The Sensex ended its five-session winning streak on Friday, dropping 607 points (0.78 percent) to 76,802.90, as IT stocks weakened after Accenture lowered its revenue outlook, though broader gains were driven by easing geopolitical tensions and lower crude prices.
