Maruti Suzuki has submitted to the exchanges the newspaper-published version of its Q1 FY26 financial results, as required under SEBI Regulation 47. Standalone total income from operations came in at ₹38,413.6 crore, down about 5.5% sequentially from Q4 FY25 (₹40,673.8 crore) but up roughly 8% year-on-year (₹35,531.4 crore in Q1 FY25). Standalone net profit after tax was ₹3,711.7 crore, nearly flat quarter-on-quarter and up about 1.7% from ₹3,649.9 crore a year ago. Standalone EPS stood at ₹118.06 versus ₹116.09 in the year-ago quarter. On a consolidated basis, revenue was ₹38,605.2 crore with net profit of ₹3,792.4 crore (down from ₹3,911.1 crore in Q4 FY25) and EPS of ₹120.62 versus ₹119.58 a year ago. The results were signed off by MD & CEO Hisashi Takeuchi on July 31, 2025.
This is a routine regulatory filing, but the underlying numbers show Maruti Suzuki delivering only modest YoY profit growth with a sequential dip in revenue and consolidated earnings, suggesting margin or mix pressure even as volumes improved. The stock reaction is likely to be muted unless guidance or commentary from the MD/CEO call adds fresh direction.
