Maruti Suzuki produced 192,139 vehicles in October 2025, up about 8.4% from 177,312 units in October 2024. Passenger vehicle production rose to 188,624 units from 173,662, led by strong growth in compact cars like Baleno, Swift and WagonR (97,321 vs 87,794) and utility vehicles such as Brezza, Fronx and Ertiga (78,450 vs 72,339). The mid-size Ciaz recorded zero production this month versus 1,380 units a year earlier. Light commercial vehicle (Super Carry) output dipped slightly to 3,515 units from 3,650. Figures include production from Suzuki Motor Gujarat.
An over 8% year-on-year jump in production points to healthy festive-season demand and is mildly positive for the stock. The discontinuation of Ciaz output is worth noting but only affects a small slice of the portfolio.
