In December 2025, Maruti Suzuki sold 217,854 vehicles, up roughly 22% from 178,248 units in December 2024. Domestic sales touched an all-time high of 182,165 units, led by compact cars (78,704 units) and utility vehicles (73,818 units). Exports fell to 25,739 units from 37,419 units a year earlier. For full calendar year 2025, the company posted record total sales of 23,51,139 units, including record exports of 3,95,648 units. April-December FY26 domestic passenger vehicle sales stood at 13,21,381 units vs 12,75,634 in the same period last year.
Record domestic volumes and all-time-high CY2025 sales point to strong demand and resilient market share, which is positive for shareholders. The notable decline in exports is a watchpoint but does not offset the overall growth momentum.
