Max Financial Services (parent of Axis Max Life Insurance) reported strong FY26 results with consolidated revenue of Rs 47,696 Cr and revenue excluding investment income at Rs 38,039 Cr, growing 17% YoY. Axis Max Life Insurance delivered robust performance with Total APE of Rs 10,502 Cr (up 20%), Individual Adjusted FYP of Rs 9,885 Cr (up 19%), and Value of New Business at Rs 2,647 Cr (up 26% YoY). New Business Margin improved to 25.2% from 24.0% in FY25, driven by balanced product mix and higher business volumes. Private market share expanded to 10.4% (up 56 bps). Operating RoEV stood at 18.7% and MCEV at Rs 28,871 Cr. Solvency ratio at 194% remains well above regulatory minimum. Protection and Health APE grew 53% and Annuity APE surged 113%, showing successful diversification.
The strong 26% VNB growth and 120 bps margin improvement indicates operational efficiency gains and better product mix, which should be positive for shareholder value. The company maintained healthy solvency and cash flow generation.
