Max Financial Services (MFSL), the holding company for Axis Max Life Insurance, reported strong FY'26 results. MFSL consolidated revenue reached Rs 38,039 crore (up 17% YoY), though consolidated PAT was modest at Rs 106 crore due to the holding company structure. Axis Max Life Insurance delivered robust performance with Total APE of Rs 10,502 crore (grew 20% YoY), Value of New Business of Rs 2,647 crore (up 26% YoY), and New Business Margin improved to 25.2% from 24.0% in FY'25. Private market share expanded to 10.4% (up 56 bps). Protection and Health APE surged 53% to Rs 1,373 crore, while Annuity APE doubled with 113% growth to Rs 1,050 crore. Proprietary channels grew 28% YoY. MCEV stood at Rs 28,871 crore with Operating RoEV of 18.7%.
The strong VNB growth and margin improvement indicate healthy underlying business momentum at Axis Max Life. However, the modest consolidated PAT at MFSL level reflects holding company dynamics. Solvency ratio declined to 194% but remains well above regulatory minimums. The stock could see positive sentiment given consistent multi-year growth trajectory and margin expansion.
