Maximus International Ltd reported strong consolidated topline growth with revenue from operations at ₹18,480.71 Lakhs, up ~17.8% from ₹15,684.63 Lakhs in the prior year. However, net profit after tax grew only marginally by ~2.2% to ₹929.62 Lakhs from ₹909.72 Lakhs, as EBITDA margins compressed due to rising input costs and finance costs. Basic EPS improved from ₹0.68 to ₹0.68 (standalone from ₹0.04 to ₹0.24). The company also approved appointment of Mr. Aniruddh Gandhi as Non-Executive Non-Independent Director via postal ballot. Statutory auditors M/s. Shah Mehta & Bakshi issued an unmodified opinion on both standalone and consolidated results. Key concern is the significant increase in short-term borrowings to ₹3,389.44 Lakhs from ₹1,505.66 Lakhs, and negative operating cash flows of -₹825.10 Lakhs for the year.
Revenue growth is healthy at ~18%, but the muted profit growth and negative operating cash flow raise concerns about margin compression. Rising short-term debt is a watch item. The clean audit opinion is positive.
