Bank of Baroda has revised its Marginal Cost of Funds Based Lending Rate (MCLR) effective from 12 June 2025. The bank has reduced the MCLR by 5 basis points across most tenors: One Month rate moves from 8.35% to 8.30%, Three Month from 8.55% to 8.50%, Six Month from 8.80% to 8.75%, and One Year from 8.95% to 8.90%. The Overnight MCLR remains unchanged at 8.15%. This is a routine revision in lending benchmark rates by the bank.
A marginal 5 bps cut in MCLR makes new loans slightly cheaper for borrowers across most tenors, while existing borrowers on reset dates will see a small reduction in interest costs. For shareholders, this signals competitive pressure on lending yields but may support loan growth volume.
