Medi Assist Healthcare Services has allotted 1,11,742 equity shares (face value Rs. 5 each) to eligible employees who exercised their stock options under the company's ESOP 2013 scheme. Exercise prices for these options range from Rs. 256 to Rs. 281 per share, implying premiums of Rs. 251 to Rs. 276 over face value. As a result, the total equity share count has increased from 7,05,38,120 to 7,06,49,862, raising the paid-up share capital from Rs. 35.27 crore to Rs. 35.32 crore. The newly issued shares carry no lock-in and will rank equally (pari-passu) with existing equity shares. The shares are listed on both BSE and NSE.
This is a routine ESOP allotment causing a minor dilution of about 0.16% in total share count. No material impact on existing shareholders or stock price is expected.
