Awaiting price reaction for this filing.
Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) has won a Rs 1,660 crore inter-state transmission project in Maharashtra under the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) mechanism. The project includes setting up 3,000 MVA of substation capacity and will help evacuate 1.5 GW of green power from upcoming hydro Pumped Storage Projects in the Raigad region to supply Mumbai and surrounding areas. The project will be executed through the Special Purpose Vehicle WRNES Talegaon Power Transmission Ltd and is scheduled for commissioning by January 2028. With this win, AESL's transmission orderbook now stands at Rs ~61,600 crore, taking its overall transmission network to 26,696 ckm and 93,236 MVA of transformation capacity.
Positive for shareholders — the new order strengthens AESL's already large orderbook, boosting future revenue visibility and reinforcing its position as India's largest private transmission company. The win also supports the country's green energy transition story.
