Meesho Limited's Board approved audited financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2026. Consolidated revenue grew 34% to Rs. 1,26,263 million from Rs. 93,899 million, while consolidated loss before tax narrowed significantly to Rs. 12,093 million from Rs. 14,549 million. Cash position improved substantially to Rs. 6,204 million from Rs. 1,471 million. The Board also approved investing up to Rs. 100 Crores in Meesho Payments Private Limited (MPPL), a 99.99%-owned subsidiary engaged as a Lending Service Provider. MPPL reported turnover of Rs. 11.05 Crores but net loss of Rs. 24.72 Crores for FY26. The investment qualifies as a related party transaction and must be completed by July 30, 2026. Key prior-period events include the IPO listing in December 2025 and a tax demand of Rs. 14,997 million for AY 2023-24 against which the company has filed appeals.
The significant revenue growth and narrowing losses indicate improving unit economics, while the strengthened cash position provides operational flexibility. The Rs. 100 Crore investment in the loss-making payments subsidiary may face shareholder scrutiny despite strategic rationale for fintech expansion.
