Mefcom Capital Markets has published its Q2 and H1 FY26 unaudited financial results in Jansatta and Financial Express, as required under SEBI LODR Regulations. On a standalone basis, total income for the quarter fell sharply to Rs 1,684.10 lakhs from Rs 11,089.04 lakhs in the same quarter last year. The company swung to a net loss of Rs 95.89 lakhs in Q2 FY26 versus a profit of Rs 133.97 lakhs a year ago, with EPS turning negative at Rs (0.21). Consolidated results showed a similar pattern, with Q2 net loss of Rs 132.96 lakhs. However, on a half-year basis, standalone net profit after tax rose to Rs 394.79 lakhs (vs Rs 206.25 lakhs in H1 FY25), and consolidated H1 profit improved to Rs 375.40 lakhs (vs Rs 274.39 lakhs). The results were approved by the board on 12 November 2025.
The sharp sequential drop in Q2 revenue and the swing to a loss are negative signals that may pressure the stock in the near term, even though half-yearly profits remain positive on a YoY basis. Shareholders should watch for any commentary on why Q2 income collapsed so steeply.
