Mercury Laboratories' board approved unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025 (Q1 FY26), along with a clean limited review report from statutory auditors Naresh & Co. Revenue from operations rose to ₹1,813.54 lakhs, up about 8.7% from ₹1,667.66 lakhs in Q1 FY25, while total revenue stood at ₹1,831.64 lakhs. Profit before tax jumped sharply to ₹154.73 lakhs from ₹91.93 lakhs a year earlier, and net profit after tax nearly tripled to ₹96.76 lakhs versus ₹34.15 lakhs in the same quarter last year. Basic EPS for the quarter came in at ₹8.06, compared to ₹2.85 in Q1 FY25. Sequentially, however, revenue and profit declined from the previous quarter (Q4 FY25 revenue of ₹2,065.91 lakhs, PAT of ₹111.04 lakhs).
Strong year-on-year profit growth driven by better margins is a positive signal for shareholders, suggesting improved operational efficiency. The sequential dip from Q4 is typical seasonal/quarter-end variation rather than a concern.
