Meta Infotech has issued a corrigendum to fix an inadvertent formula error in the previously reported financial results for the half year ended March 31, 2025. While the total profit after tax for that period remains unchanged at Rs. 306 lakhs, the reclassification affected how operating profits flowed through the tax lines. For the current half year ended September 30, 2025, revenue from operations rose to Rs. 21,014.68 lakhs from Rs. 18,400.01 lakhs in the same period last year, a growth of around 14%. However, profit after tax slipped to Rs. 1,044.58 lakhs from Rs. 1,125.42 lakhs earlier, translating to EPS of Rs. 5.63 versus Rs. 7.68. The company also reported a sharply negative operating cash flow of Rs. 2,358.63 lakhs compared with a negative Rs. 1,300.60 lakhs in the prior year.
Despite solid revenue growth, profitability and cash generation are weakening. Profit margins compressed year-on-year, and the widening gap between reported profit and operating cash outflow signals stretched working capital that shareholders should monitor closely.
