Metalic Technoforge shares debuted on the NSE SME platform with a 13 percent premium, opening at ₹87 against the issue price of ₹77, before paring gains to trade at ₹83.50 (about 8 percent above issue price). The ₹50 crore fresh issue, comprising 64.88 lakh equity shares, was subscribed nearly 6 times during July 21-23. Proceeds of about ₹30.8 crore will fund a new manufacturing unit in Rajkot and ₹6.72 crore will go toward debt repayment.
