Metroglobal Ltd reported Q2 FY26 standalone revenue from operations of Rs. 6,939.47 lakhs (vs Rs. 6,913.79 lakhs in Q2 FY25), with total income of Rs. 7,125.85 lakhs and profit after tax of Rs. 394.90 lakhs (almost flat vs Rs. 395.65 lakhs YoY). For H1 FY26, PAT fell sharply to Rs. 791.92 lakhs from Rs. 1,102.50 lakhs in H1 FY25, with EPS (excluding OCI) at Rs. 6.42 vs Rs. 8.94. Revenue for H1 FY26 dipped to Rs. 13,402.64 lakhs from Rs. 13,904.84 lakhs, mainly in the Trading & Finance segment which dominates the business. Operating cash flow turned negative at Rs. -487.62 lakhs (standalone) and Rs. -469.31 lakhs (consolidated) versus a positive Rs. 1,360.73 lakhs last year. A final dividend of Rs. 2 per share was already paid on October 6, 2025, and the NCLT sanctioned an amalgamation among promoter group entities that does not change overall promoter holding.
Flat quarterly profits and a steep H1 PAT drop, combined with negative operating cash flow, point to weaker core earnings momentum for shareholders, though the clean (unqualified) auditor opinion, absence of exceptional items, and intact dividend provide some comfort.
