Mizzen Ventures' board has withdrawn its proposed preferential issue of 8 lakh equity shares at Rs 125 per share (face value Rs 10), aggregating Rs 10 crore, meant for the non-promoter public category. The issue was originally approved on 18 June 2026. The board cited unavoidable circumstances. Shareholder resolutions on the authorised share capital increase and the preferential issue now stand cancelled and will need ratification at the next general meeting. The company says it may revisit its fund-raising plan at an appropriate time.
Near-term dilution risk removed as Rs 10 crore fund-raising plan is dropped, but capital plans are on hold. Mildly negative.
