Mkventures Capital Limited, a Mumbai-based Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) involved in loans & investments and consultancy, published the audited financial results for Q4 FY25 and full year ended March 31, 2025. On a standalone basis, the company reported a net loss of Rs. 534.84 lakhs in Q4 FY25, swinging sharply from a profit of Rs. 535.04 lakhs in Q4 FY24. Total income from operations fell to Rs. 340.34 lakhs in Q4 FY25 from Rs. 901.05 lakhs in Q4 FY24. For the full year FY25, net profit dropped significantly to Rs. 937.70 lakhs from Rs. 2,108.20 lakhs in FY24, with total income declining to Rs. 2,752.07 lakhs from Rs. 4,139.79 lakhs. Full-year EPS fell to Rs. 24.40 from Rs. 55.22. Consolidated results were broadly similar, with a Q4 loss of Rs. 530.20 lakhs and full-year profit of Rs. 949.04 lakhs.
The sharp swing to a quarterly loss and the steep decline in both revenue and full-year profit signal a tough year for the NBFC and are likely to weigh negatively on the stock. Shareholders should note the roughly 56% drop in annual earnings and the negative Q4 EPS of Rs. (13.92), which indicates deteriorating performance in the lending and investment business.
