MMP Industries begins Low Tension Power Cable production at Bhandara facility

MMP Industries has commenced production of Low Tension Power Cables (LTPC) at its Bhandara facility with an initial installed capacity of 100 MT per month. This marks the company's entry into the LTPC segment, adding to its existing aluminium conductors and cables portfolio. MMPIL is also progressing on a Greenfield LTPC and Covered Conductor facility at MIDC Umred, Maharashtra, with a planned capacity of 6,000 MTPA and construction currently underway. The move strengthens its position in the power transmission and distribution value chain and supports its strategy of expanding value-added electrical infrastructure products.
New product segment entry and future capacity buildout could support long-term revenue growth, though near-term contribution remains limited as commercial scale-up is phased.
