MMP Industries reported FY26 revenue of Rs 824 Cr (up 19% YoY) with Q4FY26 at Rs 250 Cr. However, profitability declined significantly — EBITDA margin contracted to 8.0% from 9.4% in FY25, and PAT fell 20% YoY to Rs 31 Cr (margin 3.8%). The performance was impacted by a fire incident at the Umred facility causing ~Rs 45-50 Cr revenue loss, EBITDA losses of Rs 4.08 Cr from newly incorporated subsidiaries during ramp-up, and input cost inflation. The company highlighted strong segment growth — Aluminium Powder contributed 61% of revenue at Rs 504 Cr (up 14%), Foils contributed 26% at Rs 215 Cr (up 39%), while Conductors/Cables grew modestly to Rs 100 Cr (up 3%). Net debt-to-equity increased to 0.5x as the company invested Rs 35-40 Cr in Polymer Insulators.
Margin contraction despite strong revenue growth raises concerns about operational leverage; however, management's multi-year capex plan and new product launches (LT Cables, Security Printing Foils, Lidding Foils) targeted for FY27 suggest potential margin recovery as subsidiaries scale up and high-value segments mature.
