MOIL Limited has revised the prices of its manganese ore and related products effective from March 1, 2026. Most Ferro grades (Mn-44% and above, and below Mn-44%) and Chemical grades saw a 2% price increase. SMGR (Mn-30%) was also hiked by 2%. A few specific grades, namely BGL509 and UKF532, saw a sharper 10% price increase, while several other grades (SMGR Mn-25%, Fines, SMGR Mn-20% excluding BGL509, DBF575, and MSF592) remained unchanged from February 2026 levels. The basic price of Electrolytic Manganese Dioxide (EMD) was reduced by Rs. 10,000 per metric tonne, from Rs. 1,90,000 to Rs. 1,80,000 per MT.
The broad 2% price hike across most Ferro and Chemical grades is mildly positive for MOIL's realisations, though specific to manganese ore pricing. The 10% increase in BGL509 and UKF532 grades is notable, but the Rs. 10,000/MT cut in EMD pricing partially offsets gains. Overall, this is a routine monthly price revision and is unlikely to cause any significant stock price movement.
