MOIL Limited, a Government of India Enterprise and manganese ore producer, has revised upwards the prices of all manganese ore grades effective 1st April 2026. Ferro grades with manganese content of 44% and above have been increased by 15%, while all other grades including lower ferro grades, SMGR, Fines, and Chemical grades have been increased by 17.5%. The basic price of EMD (Electrolytic Manganese Dioxide) has been maintained at Rs 1,80,000 per PMT. This price revision follows the company's quarterly pricing practice and reflects an across-the-board increase compared to the prices prevailing since March 2026.
The price hike of 15-17.5% across all manganese ore product grades is positive for MOIL's revenue and profitability, as higher selling prices directly improve margins for the manganese ore producer. This signals strong demand conditions and allows the company to pass on cost pressures to customers.
