Mold-Tek Technologies held a conference call hosted by Emkay Global to discuss two new MoUs signed with Interarch Building Solutions (PEB exports to US) and Affordable Robotic & Automation (BIW robotics for US/Europe). Under the Interarch MoU, Mold-Tek will provide design, detailing, stamping and earn up to 5% commission on building cost, with 5-6 building prospects already in RFQ stage (building sizes $0.5M-$3M). Civil engineering order book has recovered from $1.7-1.8M to $3.5M as US post-election activity resumes. Management targets getting back to FY25 PBT of INR16 crores and PAT of INR12 crores, and aims to double sales in 3-4 years. Utilization is currently 55-60% against 75-80% target. Acquisition talks ongoing with a New Jersey-based structural designing firm.
The MoUs open a new commission-based revenue stream (up to 5% on building cost) that could materially boost margins since 70% of costs are fixed employee expenses. Recovery in order book and management's guidance to return to FY25 profitability levels is a positive signal, though the actual revenue impact from MoUs may take a couple of quarters to flow through.
