Morarka Finance Limited, an NBFC, reported unaudited results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025. Total revenue from operations for Q2 FY26 stood at ₹161.64 lakhs, up about 36% from ₹118.73 lakhs in Q2 FY25, driven by a sharp rise in dividend income (₹135.81 lakhs vs ₹29.50 lakhs). Profit after tax for the quarter jumped to ₹112.06 lakhs from ₹54.46 lakhs, more than doubling year-on-year. For the half year, however, PAT declined to ₹126.02 lakhs from ₹218.40 lakhs in H1 FY25, mainly due to lower fair value gains and other income. The limited review report from auditors Jayesh Dadia & Associates is clean with no qualifications. The company remains debt-free with an investment portfolio of around ₹10,709 lakhs.
Strong Q2 performance driven by dividend income boosts short-term sentiment, but the H1 PAT decline highlights dependence on volatile investment gains. No borrowings and a clean auditor review are positives for stability.
