Morepen Laboratories Board approved FY26 audited results and declared a final dividend of Rs. 0.20 per share. Standalone net profit declined to Rs. 6,605.75 lakhs from Rs. 10,157.52 lakhs YoY, with EPS falling to Rs. 1.21 from Rs. 1.90. Consolidated net profit after minority interest dropped to Rs. 2,031.54 lakhs from Rs. 11,802.04 lakhs, partly due to Dr. Morepen Limited ceasing to be a subsidiary. The Board signed a second addendum to the Business Transfer Agreement with subsidiary Morepen Medipath Limited, revising the appointed date for transferring the Medical Devices Business (worth Rs. 19,710.12 lakhs) to April 1, 2026. M/s. Vijender Sharma & Co. was reappointed as Cost Auditors for FY27. Auditors gave an unmodified opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
The profit decline may concern short-term investors, though the dividend signals management confidence. The business transfer to the subsidiary reflects ongoing restructuring of the Medical Devices segment.
