Motilal Oswal Financial Services Limited reported strong Q4 and FY2026 results. Consolidated revenue from operations grew 27% year-on-year to Rs 2,67,620 lakhs in Q4 and 12% to Rs 9,37,397 lakhs for FY26. Profit after tax more than doubled to Rs 58,227 lakhs in FY26 compared to Rs 24,936 lakhs in FY25, driven by higher fee and commission income. Basic EPS improved to Rs 31.12 from Rs 16.42. The Board approved appointment of Mr. Sunil Goyal and Mrs. Smita Bhagat as Additional Independent Directors w.e.f. July 1, 2026. Eleven members of the promoter group holding 0.42% shareholding (24,45,412 shares) have sought reclassification to Public category, subject to regulatory approvals. The company also amended its Fair Disclosure Code to align with SEBI regulations on UPSI and market rumour verification.
The doubling of PAT and strong revenue growth signals healthy business momentum. The new independent director appointments strengthen board independence.
