MRC Agrotech Ltd has signed a 3-year exclusive Master Service Agreement with Temi Tea Estate, a Government of Sikkim undertaking, to market, promote, and distribute retail packets of Sikkim Tea across India and international markets. The agreement, effective from 14 October 2025, includes a 3-month moratorium/probationary period and is subject to renewal. MRC will sell Temi Tea under its own brand while acknowledging Temi as the source, and will bear all promotional, branding, and design costs. Temi Tea Estate, established in 1969, is Sikkim's only tea estate and produces certified organic, GI-tagged 'Sikkim Temi Tea.' The company says there is no immediate material financial impact, but expects enhanced revenue and brand equity over the medium term.
