MRPL has appointed Mr Deepak Prabhakar P as Executive Director (Marketing and Business Development) effective June 27, 2025. This is an internal elevation, as he was previously part of senior management (one level below the Board). He joined MRPL in 1993 and has over 32 years of experience across project management, maintenance, reliability, corporate strategy, and marketing. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Calicut, an MS in Manufacturing Management from BITS Pilani, and a PhD in Management from Karpagam University. He has been involved in commissioning MRPL's Phase 1, 2, and 3 refinery units, the SPM Project, SAP implementation, and the OMPL merger.
