Mrs. Bectors Food Specialities filed its Q4 FY25 and FY25 investor presentation. FY25 revenue grew 15.4% YoY to Rs 1,873.9 crore, with PAT up 2% to Rs 143.2 crore. Q4 FY25 revenue rose 9.8% YoY to Rs 446.1 crore, driven by 7% growth in Biscuits (Rs 257 crore) and 19% growth in Bakery (Rs 179 crore). However, profitability came under pressure — Q4 FY25 EBITDA fell 5.3% YoY to Rs 55.6 crore with margins contracting from 14.4% to 12.5%, and gross profit margins slipped from 47.7% to 44.3%. The company has launched 'Project IMPACT 1.0', a cost transformation initiative covering logistics, procurement, manufacturing and sales to drive future margin improvement. Capex of Rs 716+ crore has been deployed over FY21–FY25, with new plants in Dhar (MP), Kolkata, and Khopoli (Maharashtra) coming up in FY25-26.
Strong top-line growth and a clear capacity expansion story are positives, but shrinking margins in Q4 may concern investors in the near term. The IMPACT 1.0 cost program and new plant ramp-ups could support margin recovery and volume growth going forward.
