Mrs. Bectors Food Specialities reported Q1 FY26 revenue of Rs. 473 crores, up 7.6% year-on-year, with EBITDA of Rs. 58.2 crores (12.3% margin) and PAT of Rs. 30.9 crores. Bakery segment hit a record Rs. 183 crores (19% growth), led by English Oven and quick commerce expansion, while the Biscuits segment grew modestly at 3% to Rs. 281 crores due to weak exports, particularly to the US (~5-6% of total revenue) which faced tariff and order phasing issues. Management guided EBITDA margin recovery to ~14% from Q2 onwards on stable commodity prices, full price action impact, and improved business mix. New biscuit plant in Dhar has commenced operations with full production targeted for Q2, while Kolkata and Maharashtra plants are slated for Q3 and end-of-FY commissioning. The Board approved a 1:5 stock split (Rs. 10 to Rs. 2 face value) to improve liquidity.
Positive near-term sentiment as management's margin recovery guidance and strong Bakery momentum provide a clear growth roadmap, though export headwinds and elevated input costs remain near-term overhangs. Stock split may improve retail participation and liquidity in the stock.
