Mrugesh Trading Ltd reported a sharp revenue decline for Q2 FY26, with revenue from operations at Rs 98.25 lakhs versus Rs 1,090.08 lakhs in Q2 FY25 — a drop of around 91%. The company slipped into a loss of Rs 2.91 lakhs in Q2 (vs profit of Rs 69.65 lakhs a year ago), and a loss of Rs 7.69 lakhs for H1 FY26 (vs profit of Rs 64.40 lakhs in H1 FY25). EPS for H1 FY26 turned negative at -Rs 0.31, down from Rs 2.63. The balance sheet, however, expanded sharply — total assets rose from Rs 1,864 lakhs (March 2025) to Rs 6,818 lakhs (Sept 2025), driven by a big jump in other equity (Rs 6,769 lakhs) following fresh capital infusion of Rs 4,965 lakhs during the period. No dividend was recommended.
Negative short-term signal for shareholders: core trading revenue has nearly dried up and the company is back in losses after a profitable H1 last year. However, the large capital raise has strengthened the balance sheet and the company has zero debt, which could support future business expansion in its single agricultural trading segment.
