Mufin Green Finance has converted 12 lakh convertible warrants into an equal number of equity shares of Re. 1 face value. The warrants were originally issued on December 27, 2023 at Rs. 55 each, and warrant holders paid the remaining 75% (Rs. 41.25 per warrant) at the time of conversion, bringing in Rs. 4.95 crore to the company. All 10 allottees in this tranche are non-promoters with no prior shareholding, including Wow Investments (2.6 lakh shares), Sharad Goel (1.95 lakh), and Abhishek Rathi (1.6 lakh). After this allotment, the company's paid-up equity capital rises to Rs. 16.47 crore, comprising 16,46,90,172 shares.
This conversion adds less than 1% to the total share count, so dilution from this tranche is minimal. The fact that investors chose to convert rather than let warrants lapse (the original 18-month tenure expires around late June 2025) shows confidence in the stock at Rs. 55. However, this is only a partial conversion of the original 2.55 crore warrants, so further conversions and dilution may follow before the deadline.
