Mufin Green Finance's board approved unaudited financial results for Q1 FY26 on August 14, 2025. Total revenue from operations grew to Rs. 48.02 crore (standalone) from Rs. 37.02 crore in Q1 FY25, a jump of roughly 30% year-on-year, driven mainly by interest income. However, standalone profit after tax fell sharply to Rs. 1.31 crore from Rs. 2.62 crore, a drop of about 50%, due to higher finance costs and impairment on financial instruments. On a consolidated basis, profit for the period was Rs. 3.18 crore versus Rs. 4.38 crore. Acuite Ratings upgraded the company's credit rating from BBB+ (Stable) to A- (Stable) during the quarter. The company also raised about Rs. 27.2 crore via secured NCD private placements in July 2025 and allotted around 94.65 lakh equity shares to warrant holders at Rs. 55 per share.
Mixed signals for shareholders: strong top-line growth and a credit rating upgrade are positives, but the steep drop in net profit (around 50% YoY standalone) raises concerns about margin pressure and rising finance costs. The fundraising through NCDs and warrant conversions expands the equity and debt base, which may lead to some dilution but also supports business growth.
