Mukand Ltd reported strong audited financial results for FY 2025-26. Standalone profit after tax jumped to Rs. 634.69 crore from Rs. 86.95 crore in the previous year, while consolidated profit after tax rose to Rs. 604.15 crore from Rs. 75.89 crore. The Board recommended a dividend of Rs. 3 per equity share (30%), including a special Rs. 1 per share payout to celebrate 100 years of the Bajaj Group. The company also approved infusion of up to Rs. 160 crore into Mukand Heavy Engineering Ltd, its wholly-owned subsidiary. Additionally, the slump sale of the Industrial Machinery Division to the subsidiary was completed for Rs. 45.78 crore, generating a capital reserve of Rs. 0.53 crore. Land sales contributed significantly to other income, with Rs. 555.14 crore surplus recognized from property transactions. Auditors issued an unmodified opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
Exceptional profit growth and a maiden special dividend signal strong financial health, likely to positively impact shareholder sentiment and stock price. The Rs. 160 crore capital infusion into the subsidiary indicates focus on the heavy engineering business.
